lyrics
One last meal as one last gesture
Cheapest wine, second best restaurant
Clapperboard made of two pork chops
Credits roll before the scene stops
In the shower,
I heard your housemate on the phone,
Lathered up my padded bones,
from her soap I foam
The shower-head moaned
and I looked down to the tray,
sons and daughters washed away
“Good night, God bless” she’d say
The length of your legs,
half the length of your body
Above you, thinking of she
I knew I should leave
I said this before and I thought that we agreed
The time before the last time

Cried happy tears on the first listen. So many amazing lines. So many great musical choices. Can’t wait to hear these songs live when TMG return to the UK. The pirate’s life for me. dwinlomusic

the powerful instrumentals contrasted against the soft unconfident vocals. like a deep yearning for affection but you dont know how to ask. like a love you feel slipping away but youre powerless to stop it. every time i start it i feel like i cant stop. a must have for my collection. skeletalsexing
Subsonic Eye combines math rock, dream pop, and guitar sounds borrowed from post-rock for songs that whirl and flurry, but never quite settle. Bandcamp Album of the Day Sep 15, 2023

Takes me back to my high school classroom during the days of binging Inio Asano's old manga scanlations before anything was licensed. At that time, I was discovering many kinds of Asian shoegaze, but I've never heard anything like this. Makes me think of Pasteboard, Supecar, and Midnight Pingpong a bit, and it's funny bc the first two I listen have blue album covers too. Lu
